10acne.com - asked:
Whenever you experience having problems with your skin, the urge to buy an acne treatment product is overwhelming. You seek help either from friends or relatives so that they could provide a recommended product for you to use. However, not all acne treatment products will work well for each person. There are instances when a very effective product for your friend will not work for you and vice-versa. This effect is due to several factors like your skin type or if you are prone to allergic reactions to certain chemicals or agents used in the product. Because of this, you need to watch out for several signs that will show you that the product really works.
In this article, you will find some of the common signs to watch out to check if the acne treatment product suits you. If you did not see any of these signs while using the product or if you feel that things are getting worst, it might be the time for you to switch to another product or to ask for a consultation from professionals since they are the ones that are knowledgeable in recommending the treatment for your skin type.
The first sign that you will notice if the acne treatment product is working is that the redness and plumpness becomes minimal. One of the reasons why acne is so annoying is that the redness is very visible you become conscious about it. It seems that the acne stands out in your face. After applying the product on your face for about two to three days, there should be an improvement already. The redness should lessen and the acne should appear smaller than it was before. It should appear like it is starting to dry up. Also, you should feel less pain or any form of skin irritation caused by the acne after several days of using the product since it should have been killed the bacteria causing the acne.
The second sign to see if the acne treatment product is working is that you will not see new acne appearing on your skin. Most of the acne treatment products out there in the market promises that it will help eliminate or reduce acne breakout in your skin and there are really good brands in the market that does that.
The third sign that you will notice if the acne treatment product is really effective on your skin is that you will see an improvement on the quality of your skin. Acne treatment products these days are equipped with the ingredient to help you with your acne problems and improve the condition of the skin. This is to help your skin cope after the damage that the acne inflicted on your skin.
These are some of the signs that you need to check if you are trying out a new acne treatment product. These signs may not be present in a certain product all at once but if you are experiencing one of these signs, it could only mean that the product really works in a certain way.

Evaluating the Best Acne Treatment
acne November 7th, 2008
Jon Arnold asked:
With all of the acne treatments on the market today, it is often hard to decide which one is right for you. In order to make this decision, you need to take into consideration what type of skin you have. This will be your main concern when choosing the right type of acne treatment. There are a variety of different over the counter treatments, as well as prescription treatments. It is important that you keep in mind, eliminating the acne may take some time and what works for one person, may not work for you.
One simple acne treatment is gentle soap and water. There are face soaps that are extremely gentle on the face, but can still help you manage your acne. When washing your face, you want to make sure that you gently wash it and do not use any type of harsh abrasive. Scrubbing your face can actually make the acne worse.
Products that contain benzoyl peroxide can be very beneficial in treating acne. It works by reducing the amount of acne there is, as well as helps to remove dead skin cells. One of the main side effects with benzoyl peroxide is excessive dry skin. Therefore, it is important that you follow the directions very closely and do not overuse the product. Benzoyl peroxide can be found in either lotions or gels.
Herbal treatments are also available. Studies show that vitamin A has helped in the reduction of acne. The vitamin A helps to reduce the amount of keratin and sebum produced. Another important vitamin is Zinc. Zinc helps vitamin A do its job. Aloe Vera has also been proven to help in the treatment of acne. It is 100% natural and contains anti-bacterial properties as well as an astringent.
Oral antibiotics can also help in the treatment of acne. Antibiotics are used in patients that have moderate to severe acne. In most instances, oral antibiotics are prescribed for approximately six months.
Tetracycline is another prescription acne treatment that has been shown to eliminate acne. It is important that this product not be used on children under the age of eight, as it can stain teeth and affect growth. This product should also be avoided in a woman who is pregnant or breastfeeding.
Topical Retinoids are also available for the treatment of acne. Retinoids work by helping to unclog the pores and prevent both whitehead and blackhead from forming. In some instances, topical retinoids can cause the skin to become sensitive to the sun. Therefore, it is important to wear sunscreen and follow the products directions closely.
In women, oral contraceptives can also be used in acne treatment. The oral contraceptives help by suppressing the overactive sebaceous glands. Contraceptives can be used over a long period of time. However, women who smoke or have a history of blood clots, may want to consider a different treatment alternative.
There are a variety of different acne treatments available. It is important that you try a variety of treatments, until you find one that works for you. Keep in mind, what works for others, may not work for you.

The Benefits of a Natural Acne Treatment

Ron Mark asked:
Few people actually realize that the skin is the largest organ in their bodies. When any other organ is unhealthy it usually causes pain; when the skin is unhealthy, it usually causes acne. Acne is a very unpleasant inflammatory skin disease that most of us have experienced at some point in time. Whether you’re experiencing acne in your teens or during adulthood, you’re probably looking for an efficient remedy. You should be aware that some acne remedies have negative effects on your other organs. The best way to avoid any subsequent health issues is to choose a natural acne treatment. At what4mom.com we are dedicated to helping you select the most effective and nontoxic acne treatment.
Acne appears because of the overproduction of oil in the sebaceous glands of the skin. The excessive oil clogs the pores and favors the spreading of bacteria. The red acne pimples are the skin’s way of reacting to bacteria. During your teen years, having some form of acne is pretty normal because of the fluctuating hormone levels. However, if you’re experiencing adulthood acne, the problem is likely to be more difficult to treat. While teen acne goes away by itself in many cases, adulthood acne is often the skin’s reaction to your lifestyle. Smoking, eating fat foods, not getting enough sleep, pollution, insufficient skincare – these are all acne triggering factors. Heredity can also play a part in determining how severe your acne is. What4mom.com features acne treatment reviews to help you locate the best natural acne treatment.
Most people don’t know that you can make acne go away with a balanced diet and without heavy medication. There are certain types of food that are very rich in acne-repelling vitamins and minerals. For instance, you should make a healthy habit of eating wholegrain bread and cereal every single day. Wholegrain foods contain plenty of fiber and zinc, strengthening your organism. You should also look for foods with a high concentration of Vitamin E, such as mango, almonds, spinach or broccoli. Eliminating junk food, eating fiber-rich meals and plenty of fruits and vegetables will help your skin regain its heath. At what4mom.com you can read all about dieting as a natural acne treatment.
Studies have shown that acne can be linked to stress and lack of sleep. The body needs plenty of rest and relaxation to feel and look healthy. If you’re on a frantic schedule you should try your best to get at least 8 hours of sleep per night. Furthermore, thoroughly cleansing tour skin before going to bed is one habit you can’t go without. No acne treatment will ever work unless you stick to a skin cleansing program and try to lead a healthy lifestyle. What4mom.com is your number one resource for acne treatment reviews, natural remedies, advice on dieting and other useful website listings.
When struggling to get rid of an acne problem you shouldn’t forget about the rest of your body. Some of the acne medication on sale today can be highly toxic in spite of its immediate effects. The best way to nurse your skin back to health is by selecting a natural acne treatment. Certain foods and natural cleansers combined with a healthy lifestyle will help you regain that beautiful skin. At what4mom.com you can read acne treatment reviews and start making a change in your life.
